The Primary Department of J.H.Tarapore School had organized their Annual Craft Exhibition ‘CRAFFITI’ on 13th January, 2020. Mrs. Rubina Bodhanwala, Managing Trustee, Tarapore Schools was the chief guest for this event.
The Art Club
showcased their talent with the exotic display of paintings, handicrafts,
items, some of which were sold for charity.
This exhibition
provided a platform to the students to enhance their artistic ability and fine
motor skills. It also gave a boost to their self esteem and promoted innovation
and creativity.
Art and Craft plays
an important role in building team spirit, confidence and helps to respect each
others’ views.
China Town by Std.
III showed a marvelous display of the ‘Great Wall of China’, ‘The Grand
Dragon’, its Flora and Fauna and the Chinese culture.
The wonderful land of Brazil by the Std. IV students portrayed the famous carnival, the popular soccer sport and its artifacts. The Amazon Basin and attempts to conserve it, was expressed in the form of a spectacular model.
The display of
African paintings, personalities and handicraft items by the students of Std. V
was an eye opener of the unique culture of the people of the land.
The Junior Primary
sections put in their efforts through their amazing display of ‘Life under
water’ and the beautiful ‘Animal Kingdom’. Messages on how to conserve animals
was witnessed throughout their creations.
The creativity of the
students left the audience spellbound.

Applicants for L.Kg. must be born between 16th September, 2015 to 15th September, 2016.
The Birth Certificate issued only by the Government Certified Authorities will be accepted.
The Birth Certificate in English or Hindi only, will be accepted.
The Birth Certificate should have been made within one year of the child’s birth.
In case the Birth Certificate of a child has been issued by the “Gram Panchayat”, it will be accepted only if it is duly signed and stamped by the “Panchayat Sewak” of the concerned Panchayat only.
Affidavits or horoscopes will not be accepted.
The original Birth Certificate must be produced during the submission of forms forverification and it will be returned on the same day.

We at J. H. Tarapore School are always looking for ways and means to achieve all round development of our students. Educational field trip is an effective way for enabling this. In this pursuit, the Science Club of our school arranged a trip to the National Metallurgical Laboratory on 7th December, 2018 for the science students of Std. XI. The students were cordially received by the NML team and a detailed description was given about the various segments of the Laboratory. The students had a great opportunity to enhance their knowledge about the latest technology in the field of science. The NML team guided the students about the enriching career in research and development.

J. H. Tarapore School will be participating actively in the 10th Jamshedpur JoyFest 2018(Donate for Dignity) so we request all our partners and stakeholders to come forward and donate generously. As we all move towards the festive season, lets all take up an initiative to light up the lives of all those who are not so privileged as us.

A two day Inter School Fest was organized in J. H. Tarapore School on 7th and 8th of September, 2018 in the school premises jointly by the Computer and Young Global Leaders’ Club. It was a unique fest comprising technology along with a career fair. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Anurag Agnihotri, Chief IT Projects, TATA Steel. The program unfolded a number of innovative and competitive off stage events like Random Bits(IT Quiz), Bot Walk(Fashion show for Robots), Carriere(Ad Mad Show), Retrobo(Dance), Mic Drop(War of DJ) and Chalk Talk (Panel Talk).The off stage events included Cryptomaze(Treasure Hunt), Career Feria(Career Fair), MEMEion(Meme Designing), Studio 111(Video Editing), Fuzzy Logix (Programming) and Counter strike 1.6 (Gaming)which attracted enthusiastic participation. There were thirteen participating schools. Loyola School was declared the overall champion and Little Flower School bagged the runner up prize.

J.H. Tarapore School organised Convergence 2018, a fun filled workshop on 7th September, 2018. The students of Std V, from 12 schools of Jamshedpur participated in this non-competitive workshop.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Deepa Sen Gupta, inaugurated the function. After the inauguration ceremony, various interesting activities were conducted. The first session was ‘Under Water Safari’. The students made under water plants and animals using materials like newspaper, paper plates etc. In the next session, ‘Go green, No Polythene’, the students were taught to reuse plastic bottles. The children made craft items like wall hangings, pen holder etc. by using waste materials. The next session, ‘Be Active, Be Cool’, was conducted by Mrs. Tina Bodhanwala Sood. The session helped the students to channelize their emotions through self-control, anxiety management and mental focus through mind-body exercises and fun filled activities.
This workshop ended with prize distribution ceremony. The prizes were awarded to groups and not to any particular school, thus spreading the message of love, friendship and togetherness.
