Objective
•To enhance the aptitude for general knowledge and awareness among the students.
•To keep pace with the ongoing happenings in India and the world
To inculcate the habit of reading newspaper. This habit will enrich their knowledge and widen the outlook.
‘Knowledge is power and it is a fact that only power rules the world ‘. The GK CLUB of our school believes in this and tries to help the students to enhance their skills in all possible ways. It aims to expand general awareness and hones the skills of the students. It intends to empower the students with knowledge and create interest and curiosity to collect information related to different fields. It also aims to bring to light something new and interesting every time.
So every week classes are conducted to enhance the general knowledge of the students and for this purpose regular quiz are conducted on a particular topic, during the club activity period.
During the month of July and August few students had participated in Inter School Quiz and fared well.
It is therefore, crucial for students to look beyond their syllabus and broaden their horizons with the help of General knowledge.
