About the club:

The Green Warriors Club in the Primary Department of our school is a dedicated force of young eco-champions working tirelessly to nurture a greener and cleaner environment. With a profound commitment to sustainable living, this club’s objectives are designed to instill environmental consciousness in our students and empower them to take meaningful actions.

Learning Objectives :

The club serves as a catalyst to motivate students to maintain green and clean surroundings. Through various initiatives, they learn the importance of preserving nature’s beauty and the significance of a litter-free environment.

Environmental awareness is a core focus, with the club aiming to cultivate habits of minimal waste. Students are educated about the three Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle – as they embark on a journey towards sustainable living.

Learning Outcomes :

One of the club’s standout activities is tree planting, where young hands dig deep to nurture the growth of new life. These activities not only enhance the natural surroundings but also foster a sense of responsibility towards the planet.

The Green Warriors Club also campaigns the reduction of plastic usage, educating students about the detrimental impact of plastic bags and bottles on the environment. Through awareness campaigns and practical demonstrations, they learn how small changes in their daily routines can make a significant difference.

Energy saving

To develop skills of observation, experimentation, survey, recording, analysis, reasoning needed for conserving environment through activities.

Grow kitchen gardens, maintain vermin-composting pits, construct water harvesting structures in school, practice paper recycling etc.
