SUMMER WALK- LET’S BEAT THE HEAT

SUMMER HAS A FLAVOUR LIKE NO OTHER. ALWAYS FRESH AND SHIMMERED IN SUNSHINE. “🌞🌤

A Summer Walk was organised on 18th of April, 2022 for the students of Stds. I and II. They walked around the school with summer accessories like a pee cap, scarf, umbrella and sunglasses. Different corners of the school were explored in this activity.

The children flocked together and had the fresh summer fruits🍉🍇🍋🥭 which they had brought in their tiffins. It turned out to be a stress buster for these little ones where they got an opportunity to walk, talk and explore together.

The walk was followed by fun activities in the classrooms like listing the man made things spotted on the way; and writing down what they heard, smelled, saw, and felt as a part of their scientific exploration.
By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection, they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations.

Items of everyday use were provided by the students of classes VIII and IX.On this occasion, Principal Mrs. Lata Sharat appreciated the work of all the brave Bhaiyas and Didis, thanked them and wished them on May Day.

Nature Walk

In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.

We must teach our children to smell the earth, to taste the rain, to touch the wind, to see things grow , to see the sunrise and night fall- most importantly to care.

Nature is what we see and feel around us, and it is beautiful and attractive.

The Kg. Department had a “Nature Walk” on 27th of April 2022, where the tiny tots interacted with nature. They enjoyed seeing different kinds of plants, colourful flowers, noisy birds, insects etc in the school garden. The children enjoyed the greenery of the nature.

After this activity, children solved the worksheet based on the activity where they coloured and circled the things they saw in the garden. This experiential learning is designed to help children explore the idea of responding by observing things around them and stimulate their imagination.
