Lemonade Day Activity 🍋🍋🍹

A spoon of sugar, a pinch of salt, squeeze the lemon, sieve the seed, pour some water. Your glass of fresh and tangy lemonade is ready ☺️☺️

“Lemonade Day” is a summer activity conducted every year in the kindergarten of our school. This activity gave the tiny tots hands-on experience of making a glass of lemonade and they relished every sip of it.

The Kg. classes were decorated with yellow  objects like mango, sunflower, pineapple, sun etc.

Pretty cards symbolising a glass of lemonade were also made for the tiny tots to take home as a token of love.

The little ones had a fun filled day drinking lemonade and learning about yellow objects around them.

Learning with a Difference – The e-book

The experience of the last two years was unthinkable, unimaginable and took the educational world by storm experiencing a whole new way of learning- The Online Mode.
These little tiny tots who were eagerly waiting to attend school were introduced to the online mode of schooling. Little did we know that the children and their parents would adapt to the new normal so well.
This e-book is special as it showcases the learnings of the past two years. In spite of the limitations and challenges faced, the school and the students stood out victorious. Here we present the e-book for our students of Kindergarten.

IDS Activity(2021-22) Std VIII

‘TYING THE KNOT’

As part of the IDS activity, Std. VIII  students participated enthusiastically in a range of activities on the theme of ‘Wedding.’ Due to the pandemic, the class was not conducted offline until very recently. Therefore, the activity was conducted online.

The students made ornaments, depicted graph work, walked the ramp, and answered a quiz to showcase their knowledge and research work. This time India’s partner countries were Russia, Nepal, and the United States of America.

It was a collaborative activity and we collaborated with Rani Bilasmont Govt. Boys High School in Bangladesh. Both the schools connected via Zoom and conducted a Fashion show followed by a Questionnaire round and exchange their work.

These activities broadened their perspective and the general know-how. It also made them aware of the similarities and differences without disrespecting anyone.

IDS ACTIVITY (2021-22) Std IX & XI

‘EVERY DROP COUNTS’

As part of the IDS activity, the students of Std IX & XI were given a topic on Water Conservation, ‘ Every Drop Counts’.
The students made models, PPTs and wrote articles to depict their research work.
The greater countries in these activities were India, Israel, Greece and Saudi Arabia. Through their models and PPTs they showed various methods of irrigation, both ancient and modern, that encouraged water conservation. These methods included Drip Irrigation, Furrow Irrigation, Sprinkler Irrigation and Desalinisation. Articles to show a comparative study of Indian methods with the partner countries were written by the students. After the completion of the activities, the students were given worksheets to see how well they had comprehended the information.
These activities encouraged the students to gather information about partner countries and in the process gave them valuable lessons on the importance of water conservation. The activity was a fair way to sensitize them about various environmental concerns.
