Blue is the colour of the sky, the limit of your imagination & the beginning of your dreams.

The tiny tots of the Kg. Department celebrated “Blue Day” on the 5th of May 2022. A well planned assembly was organised to celebrate this day. The assembly began with the prayer thanking God for all his blessings.
The teachers familiarised the students with a few blue objects like a blue bell flower and inkpot, a blue whale, a blue bird, the blue sky, the blue sea etc using props. The teachers danced and sang a peppy song on Blue for the Kg. children.

The students also participated in an activity “Dot and Dab” in which the children made raindrops with their little thumbs. To make this day more special the teachers made headgears for all the children with the message “Save Water”. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day dancing and singing with their teachers.

To honour the dancing skills of the students of J. H Tarapore an Intra School Solo Dance Competition was organised on 29th April 2022, for Std III, IV and V.
With the theme ‘Feet on Fire’. 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
The competition was held in the Freestyle category

True to the theme, the vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances and this was a reflection of their passion and hard work. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of all the students were very good.

Spelling is an integral part of language which forms the basis of learning.

One way to make learning easy and to overcome stage fright is with school friends.
The Intra School Competition, ‘Spell Bee’ was organised from 19th April, 2022 to 21st April,20 22 for the students of the Primary Department-Stds. III, IV, and V.
It is an extra curricular activity which not only enhances vocabulary but also improves and develops the student’s learning ability.
The students participated actively and won with whopping scores.

SUMMER HAS A FLAVOUR LIKE NO OTHER. ALWAYS FRESH AND SHIMMERED IN SUNSHINE. “🌞🌤

A Summer Walk was organised on 18th of April, 2022 for the students of Stds. I and II. They walked around the school with summer accessories like a pee cap, scarf, umbrella and sunglasses. Different corners of the school were explored in this activity.

The children flocked together and had the fresh summer fruits🍉🍇🍋🥭 which they had brought in their tiffins. It turned out to be a stress buster for these little ones where they got an opportunity to walk, talk and explore together.

The walk was followed by fun activities in the classrooms like listing the man made things spotted on the way; and writing down what they heard, smelled, saw, and felt as a part of their scientific exploration.
By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection, they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations.

‘May Day’ was organized in the premises of J. H. Tarapore School.  The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. A colorful program was presented by the students of the school. In which the girls staged a comedy drama ‘Netaji ji ka sakchatkar’ (Netaji’s interview) and presented a fusion dance, which captivated everyone’s mind. An enchanting dance was also performed by the Didis which was well received by all.

On the occasion of ‘May Day’, gifts were given to all the Didi and Bhaiya from the school. Items of everyday use were provided by the students of classes VIII and IX.On this occasion, Principal Mrs. Lata Sharat appreciated the work of all the brave Bhaiyas and Didis, thanked them and wished them on May Day.

On the occasion of Earth Day the students of J.H. Tarapore School participated in various activities which made them aware of reduce reuse and recycle to save our mother earth and also taught them the importance of sustainability.

In addition to this, an awareness about making and spreading of seedballs and bottle bricks by Mr. Gaurav Anand was also a part of Earth day celebrations.

The teachers also contributed in the planting of saplings in pots.

“A FEW DROPS OF BLOOD CAN HELP A LIFE TO BLOOM”
The Annual Blood Donation Camp was scheduled on Friday, 22nd April, 2022, from 8.30 a.m.-1:00 p.m in our school Hall.
This camp is organized every year to help poor Cancer patients.
There was a decent participation from the parent community of the school.

A spoon of sugar, a pinch of salt, squeeze the lemon, sieve the seed, pour some water. Your glass of fresh and tangy lemonade is ready ☺️☺️

“Lemonade Day” is a summer activity conducted every year in the kindergarten of our school. This activity gave the tiny tots hands-on experience of making a glass of lemonade and they relished every sip of it.

The Kg. classes were decorated with yellow  objects like mango, sunflower, pineapple, sun etc.

Pretty cards symbolising a glass of lemonade were also made for the tiny tots to take home as a token of love.

The little ones had a fun filled day drinking lemonade and learning about yellow objects around them.

The formal Graduation Night and Valediction was held on 26th March 2022. It was a solemn event in which the Chairman Mr. Bailey Bodhanwala,the  Managing Trustee Mrs. Rubina Bodhanwala, Mrs. Nargis Madon, a  member of the Managing Committee, the Principal Mrs. Lata Sharat, the Vice Principal Mrs. Rukshana Gardin  blessed and wished the students of Std. XII luck for their future endeavours in the midst of their parents. The students were presented with mementoes and certificates.
