J. H. Tarapore School observed Safety Week 2026–27 under the theme “Safety First: Learn, Act, Protect,” with enthusiastic participation from students across all sections.

In the Primary Department, students engaged in interactive activities such as safety-themed videos, role plays on good touch and bad touch, sorting exercises, badge-making, group discussions, and slogan writing, helping them understand essential safety practices in a fun and meaningful way.

Students of Classes VI–XII took part in activities like designing Emergency Contact Cards, creating charts on safety themes, craft-based projects with safety messages, and cyber safety posters, promoting awareness and responsibility.

The highlight of the week was a Self-Defense Workshop for Class XII conducted by Shihan. L  Nageshwar Rao and his team, where students learned practical karate techniques, situational awareness, and confidence-building skills.

An informative Mental Health Awareness session for Class XI further emphasized the importance of emotional well-being and self-care.

The celebration was a meaningful blend of learning and creativity, leaving students more aware, confident, and safety-conscious.

J. H. Tarapore School organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐩𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 and 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on the 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in its premises.

Blood donation is vital for patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatment, organ transplant and those suffering from traumatic injuries. One donation can save up to three lives making each contribution incredibly impactful.
The camp was held to spread awareness about voluntary blood donation and help the cancer patients.
The event was coordinated by the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 of J. H. Tarapore School. Students made posters to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation.

Donors, including teachers and parents came forward to donate blood. A team of doctors and paramedics from Jamshedpur Blood Bank conducted the camp ensuring that all safety and hygiene protocols were followed.

𝐀 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝟑𝟑 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩.

The transition from Class X to Class XI marks a pivotal phase in a student’s academic journey—bringing new opportunities along with greater responsibilities. To support students and parents through this shift, J. H. Tarapore School organised an Orientation Programme for the incoming Class XI batch on 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

The session began with a warm welcome and introduction to the faculty, creating an atmosphere of comfort and openness. Parents were also invited to share their suggestions, making the interaction collaborative and inclusive.

𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐑𝐮𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐇. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧 highlighted the increased academic expectations at the senior secondary level, stressing the importance of 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 and 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Parents were encouraged to trust and support their children during this phase.

Emphasis was also laid on 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, with students being motivated to participate in co-curricular activities and experiences beyond the classroom.

The programme concluded on a reassuring note, leaving students and parents with a sense of clarity, confidence, and quiet excitement for the journey ahead.

J. H. Tarapore  School celebrated its Annual Recognition Day on  Wednesday, 1st April, 2026 , with great fervour and enthusiasm. The event, held at the Aura Mazda Auditorium aimed to honour and recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of its students.

The highlight of the event was the presence of Mrs. Tina Bodhanwala Sood, Director, Tarapore Schools, whose inspiring words added to the significance of the occasion. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment of knowledge and wisdom.

The stage was graced by the presence of the prize winners who exuded charm and confidence as they sought the blessings of the Almighty and pledged to upload the values of excellence throughout their lives.

Throughout the ceremony the audience was captivated as the students were awarded for their academic brilliance, exemplary conduct and perseverance . Special recognition was also given to the Primary All Rounder Sanvi Snigdha Sethy, whose outstanding performance across various fields stood out.

Moreover, students who excelled the extracurricular activities such as yoga, dance and various Olympiads were lauded for their achievements highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic development.

In a heartfelt gesture, individuals who participated in the blood donation camp held last year were also felicitated, underscoring the school’s emphasis on social responsibility and community service.

𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐀𝐳𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 (𝐒𝐭𝐝. 𝐗𝐈𝐈) was honoured by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐯𝐢𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐚, 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, for her commendable social work.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐮 𝐒𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 was presented to 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐈𝐪𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐥 (𝐒𝐭𝐝. 𝐗𝐈𝐈).

A new recognition, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 Teacher 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 – 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, was introduced this year and awarded to 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐚 (𝐒𝐭𝐝. 𝐗) for her kindness, dignity, and quiet strength, recognising her willingness to help others, often without being asked.

The 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 and 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 jointly received the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. Donations were also presented to social organisations, and blood donors were honoured for their service.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and the School Song.

J. H. Tarapore School joyfully celebrated its 𝐊𝐠. & 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲 on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, with the meaningful theme “𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.” The event beautifully conveyed the message of harmony, unity, and global togetherness through delightful performances by the young learners.

The little stars presented charming dance performances symbolizing love, friendship, and peace across different cultures and countries. Their innocence, confidence, and expressive movements filled the atmosphere with joy and warmth, leaving the audience deeply impressed.

One of the highlights of the programme was the 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 of the youngest group of students, whose presence on stage added a special charm and emotional touch to the celebration.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐚 graced the occasion with his presence and support, adding to the significance of the celebration.

Parents and guests appreciated the enthusiastic performances of the children and the dedicated efforts of the teachers, which made the program a memorable success.

Among these achievers, the highlighted students have successfully qualified for the 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝, earning the opportunity to compete at the next level. Their achievement brings great pride to the school and serves as an inspiration to their peers. We congratulate all the medal winners and wish our second-round qualifiers the very best for the upcoming stage of the competition.

On 22 January, a grand Winter Carnival was successfully organized on the premises of J.H. Tarapore School. Students from Classes I to V attended the carnival along with their parents, while students from Class VI onwards also participated actively and enthusiastically in various activities. The entire campus was filled with joy, excitement, and festive cheer.
The most noteworthy aspect of the event was a commendable pledge taken collectively by all the children—that no matter how enjoyable the fair might be, they would not litter the surroundings. Owing to this pledge and the conscious efforts made by the students, the school grounds remained clean and well-maintained even at the end of the carnival.
The Winter Carnival proved to be a wonderful blend of entertainment, learning, and social responsibility, and was enjoyed by all, making it a memorable and successful event.

The formal Graduation Night and Valediction was held on
16 th January, 2026. It was a solemn day that marked the achievements, hard work and determination of the students as they celebrated a significant milestone in their academic journey.
