Independence Day Celebration 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated at J.H. Tarapore School with immense pride, joy, and a spirit of unity. The National Flag was hoisted by the Director, Mrs. Rubina Bodhanwala, along with the Principal,Mrs. Lata Sharat , Vice-Principal, Mrs. Rukshana Gardin, a teacher, a parent, and a sub-staff member, followed by the soulful singing of the National Anthem.

This year’s theme, Women Empowerment, highlighted the extraordinary contributions of Indian women who have broken barriers and inspired generations. The programme, organised with great enthusiasm by the students of Std. VII, featured a thought-provoking skit, Women Who Empowered the Nation After Independence. Through impactful performances, the lives and achievements of remarkable legends such as Kalpana Chawla, Sindhutai Sapkal, Captain Lakshmi Sehgal, Mary Kom, and many others were brought to life, leaving the audience inspired.

The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by the Director, Mrs. Rubina Bodhanwala, urging everyone to uphold the values of equality, courage, and service to the nation.
