The newly elected Cabinet of J. H. Tarapore School for the session 2024-25 was sworn in on Thursday, the 4th of July, in a formal Investiture Ceremony. The esteemed guests for the event were Ms. Rubina Bodhanwala, Director J.H. Tarapore School and Ms. Tina Bodhanwala Sood, Director, Tarapore School, Agrico, Principal Ms. Lata Sharat, and Vice-Principal Ms. Rukshana Gardin who also invested the newly elected Cabinet.
A total of 50 members were inducted into the cabinet and given their portfolios. The ceremony began with the swearing-in of the School Pupil Leader, Tasmia Fatma (Std. XII), and Assistant School Pupil Leader, Vaanya Pandey (Std. XI), followed by the four house leaders (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Topaz), the Sports Minister, Cultural Minister, Discipline Minister, Cleanliness Minister, Ethics Minister, and the Club Leaders along with their assistants.
The ceremony commenced with a grand march of the Cabinet Members along with the school band. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. Principal Ms. Lata Sharat addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of leadership, sense of responsibility, and the role of the cabinet in fostering a positive school environment.
This Investiture Ceremony is more than an event; it is a process that instills leadership qualities and a sense of collective responsibility in the students. The oath taken by the School Pupil Leader and Assistant School Pupil Leader highlights the values of truth, justice, peace, and harmony in the school. Our office bearers recognize that with great power comes great responsibility. The newly elected members will undoubtedly reflect the school’s ethos and set a positive example for their juniors. The school looks forward to a fruitful year ahead, with the cabinet playing a pivotal role in various initiatives and activities
