International Yoga Day Celebration at J.H. Tarapore School
Theme: Yoga for One Earth, One Health
The Fitness Freaks Club and the Adventure Club of J.H. Tarapore School jointly organised the International Yoga Day celebration with great enthusiasm and energy, embracing this year’s theme—“Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
The event commenced with Yog Vandana, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. This was followed by warm-up exercises and yoga asanas like Tadasana and Ardhchandrasana, promoting strength and flexibility.
Students also practised Pranayama techniques such as Anulom Vilom and Om Chanting, which enhanced mental clarity and inner calm.
The celebration beautifully conveyed the message that yoga is not just a form of exercise, but a way to align our bodies and minds with the health of the planet. It served as a reminder that individual well-being is deeply connected to global harmony.
