“Fire safety is everyone’s fight — awareness today can prevent tragedy tomorrow.”
In observance of Fire Service Week, and under the theme “Unite to Ignite, a Fire Safe India,” J.H Tarapore School had the honor of hosting an On-site Fire Safety Awareness Session organized by SAFE in collaboration with the Tata Steel Fire Brigade.
The session aimed to spread crucial fire safety awareness among students, equipping them with knowledge that can help minimize the loss of life and property. The program commenced with a warm welcome to our esteemed guests:
Mr. Wahid Hussain, Station In-charge, Fire Department, Tata Steel, and two courageous fire fighters, Ms. Sandhya Singh and Ms. Pratima Dubey.
Through detailed explanations and live demonstrations, students were introduced to first-aid firefighting equipment and techniques essential for immediate response during fire emergencies. The session was interactive and highly informative, inspiring students to adopt a safety-first approach in their daily lives.
On behalf of the entire school community, heartfelt thanks were extended to the Tata Steel Fire Brigade Team and SAFE for their valuable time, effort, and dedication. Their commitment to educating young minds on fire safety is truly commendable and aligns perfectly with the spirit of this year’s theme.
Today’s program not only enriched our students’ understanding but also instilled a deeper sense of responsibility towards building a safer India. Let us all pledge to carry forward these lessons and work towards a Fire Safe India.
