‘Safety they say is not a gadget but a state of mind’.
It should be a common denominator across all aspects of life. To instill this belief in our students, we at J. H. Tarapore School take many steps. One such measure is celebrating the ‘Safety Week’ every year.
This year also the ‘Safety Week’ had many events being organized by the Safe Club for the students to participate in.
On the 11th of April, students of Std. IX presented ‘Nukkad Nataks’ in the Primary Assembly to educate the young students about various aspects of safety.
Their presentations were appreciated by the students and judges alike.
On 12th of April all the other classes of the High School had their events. Std VI made charts on Safety Symbols. Std VII had a slogan writing competition. Std. VIII had a story telling competition which kept the judges and the audience spell bound. Std. X entertained and educated with their Safety Jingles.
And, Std. XI and XII displayed their creativity with the collages that they made on various topics.
This year the competitions were extended to Primary Department also. On 16th of April they too had many events like chart making, collage making and jigsaw making.
The aim of all these activities is to ensure that our students understand that safety is a way of life, to be inculcated in all that they do.
The glimpse of the ‘Nukkad Nataks’ can be taken at the YouTube Channel of the J. H. Tarapore School.
